An Angel came to Joseph one night and told him to take Mary and Jesus and go to Egypt as King Herod had ordered that Jesus be killed. 

 They left Bethlehem right away. When the Wise Men did not return to King Herod he ordered that all the baby boys be killed in his search for Jesus.

Jesus grew up with Mary and Joseph and was indeed the Son of God and a very special person indeed.

We celebrate this story at this time of year as the this celebration is named after 
Jesus Christ or the Mass of Christ – Christmas. 

We give gifts to each other as the Wise Men gave gifts to the Baby Jesus that night in Bethlehem.
