In the East three wise men saw a new star shining high in the sky, they knew that whenever a new star appeared in the sky it meant that a great King had been born.
They followed the star so they could bring great gifts to Jesus.
The followed the Star to Jerusalem to see King Herod as they though that the baby would be born in a palace.
They asked him if they could see the baby that would grow up to be the next King of the Jews.
This worried King Herod very much and he thought this child would grow up and take his throne.
He told the Three Wise Men to return to him when they had found this child as he wanted to also give him gifts
The Wise Men continued their journey to find the baby Jesus.
The Star took them to the stable in Bethlehem.
Here they worshipped the baby and gave him wonderful gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.
That night the Wise Men had a dream and an Angel warned them that King Herod didn't want to worship Jesus but to harm him and not to return home that way.
