Archangel Michael

Michael, whose name means “Who is like God” is the leader of archangels.
He is usually depicted with a sword/shield and sometimes a set of scales. Michael oversees the weather, agriculture (crops) and the entire natural world. With his sword, he can cut the ties that bind us to unhealthy people or things in our lives that we no longer need.
Call on Michael for protection, releasing fear, doubt and negativity, and for strength and illumination. He is also called upon for prosperity and abundance.

The Root Chakra is the First Chakra and is located at the bottom of the spine.
The word Chakra is Sanskrit and means Wheel.
We open our Chakras from the bottom up and close from the top down. The Chakras are connected together through an energy cord which allows form movement and energy transference between each Chakra.

Chakra energy is used in many healing modalities including Angel Therapy, Crystal Healing, Chakra Therapy/Healing, Reiki, Yoga and many more.

It transfers cosmic energies to the physical and earthly level and let's earthly energy stream into our subtle system… building up in existence, finding material security, and securing the survival of the species by founding of family belong to the sphere of this first chakra, along with sexuality as a physical function and a means of begetting children.”

I've been doing a bit of reorganising on all my paperwork and generally tidying around, after all it's getting to that time of year for the Annual Spring Clean.

I came across some information I had filed away about Chakras. As usual I had to draw a halt to to the tidying and sat down inside my window and read through my notes.

I realised I could pass this information on to you all, and you may benefit from it and use it to progress your understanding of energy and how to connect and use your chakras to further your communication with your angels.

Chakra is a sanskrit word which generally means wheel or disc.
There are 7 main chakras aligned with the body and they are all found along the spine from the base to the crown. The chakras regulate the flow of energy through our energy fields. We open and close these systems by deciding what to think and feel and what we experience of the world around us. They interact with our physical body through two major systems - The Endocrine System and the Nervous System.

I will be continuing the Chakra posts here on Cora's Cloud.
I will be working through the Chakras starting with the Base Chakra and working upwards towards the Crown Chakra.

A Lesson In Loving You

Why is it that many of us find it difficult to love ourselves?
We adore and love our children, or partners/spouses, animals etc but we cannot summon up the same amount of love for ourselves. Many of us feel we don't deserve this love. That our families deserve our love more, that we need to lavish our loved ones in our love and thus there is nothing left for us.

To help you understand how to love yourself and how much love to give yourself try this simple experiment.
Search out some family photographs of people you love dearly. Perhaps photos of children or grandchildren, and don't forget a photo of you too.

Pick up and look at the photo(s) of your loved one(s) and open your heart, feel the love begin to flow as you look at their face(s) feel your heart bursting with love for them. You may even begin to picture them in your mind and remember moments with them. See how effortlessly you pour your love through your heart chakra to them.

Now holding this photo in one hand pick up the photo of you.

With your heart chakra open take a little of the love you have for your loved ones and lavish it on you.

Many of you will find this uncomfortable and a little difficult at first, but as you progress and repeat this exercise a few times it will become easier.

Don't see flaws or negativity in your photo. Just see yourself as a child of God perfect and divine in so many ways. Some of you may find it easier to begin this process using an old photograph of yourself perhaps a childhood one.

This will help you to lavish love on yourself every day. After all in loving yourself first you will understand how it feels to be loved.
