Although we may all wish for the solitude of a deep mountain retreat, a calm lake at sunrise or just a still moment, this can be hard to achieve in our busy lives, with interruptions of work, home, children etc.
But this can in some way still be achievable.
You don't need to meditate for hours or lock yourself into seclusion, by gently meditation for a few minutes each day you can find inner solitude and peace is very attainable.
Try this simple meditation.
Sit or lie quietly.
Calm your breathing and try not to focus your mind on anything in particular. Breath gently in and out.
When you feel settled imagine a bright light is radiating out from within you. See yourself sitting inside a large white glowing sun. Allow this light to enter your being, to surround every organ, to pour through you from head to foot, to bathe each cell in this glorious light refreshing and renewing as it goes.
Notice how you are feeling.
Notice how your mind is connecting with this wonderful rejuvenating light.
Connect with the sacred within you.
Be one with it.
Connect with this inner sacred I Am and allow its knowledge and wisdom to direct you on.
Blessings Cora
