We all have a great capacity within us to love. Love is a quality essential to everyone, regardless of where they live, what they believe, what they like or what their religion. We cannot survive without love, even those who have never known parents/siblings or a romantic partner; because love begins within. Although you may not like yourself from time to time, you do love yourself. Even the smallest atom of love exists with us, because we are divine creatures, created by God's love and through his intercession we are here on Earth to experience so many wonderful things and journey an adventurous path. Open your heart to love and begin by loving yourself a little bit more each day.
Many people ask me what inspires me most. There are of course many answers depending on my task at that time. I find inspiration from a host of sources and as each of us are different and have different interest hobbies etc we thus find inspiration in many different places.
There is something truly magical and inspirational in stunning scenery and landscapes, weathered through time and moulded into magnificent vistas, also the delicate and exact beauty in any flower, plant or tree, all hold great inspiration for many from poets to artists etc. Inspiration in sound is wondrous to behold and we have all experienced music which moves us to tears, joy or dance, even the sound of crashing waves or birds song holds magical inspiration. I have been truly inspired by many great individuals from the Dali Lama to many writers and poets and find their unique and individual view points enchanting and thought provoking. But for me true inspiration comes from still silence. It's in these moments of nothing that wondrous and divine words of divine inspiration flow. It's like finding a long lost dusty trunk, forgotten in the darkness of my mind and opening it to find an abundances of beautifully written sheets flowing with love, light and inspiration. My angels impart these beautiful and loving words to help me share my gifts from them with others. To allow others to tune into their angels and their unique energies and love to help them find, begin and travel further on their spiritual journeys. Inspiration is not what's important to me, it's conveying these words of wisdom and guidance to others that is truly fulfilling and peace giving. For the ultimate in inspiration is to inspire others. To help others find what they are seeking at the precise moment in time that they most need it. As children we are often fascinated by where objects are made or come from, and even search these places out on maps. I remember a geography lesson when I was about 11 years old, where our homework for the weekend involved finding objects in our homes and then using an atlas to find these places in the world. We had to compile a list and bring it in on the following Monday. Needless to say I had quite a long list as not only did I have the usual trinkets and souvenirs from our home but my relatives ran a small shop so there were many items from abroad too. As a child of 11 I understood that I had come from somewhere, that I just hadn't come into being on the day of my birth, that there was a place where I was from. When I was quite young I would ask when was I going back "home" as I missed this place of comfort and love and when my parents were upset with me or cross when I would misbehave, I would run and hide in the garden and ask my angels to take me back as I didn't want to be here; it was difficult and I didn't understand lots of things. As time moves steadily on we loose our connection with 'home' and readjust to life on earth. After all we choose to be here, to learn and explore ourselves in this unique way. But getting back to the question who made me? The answer is simple God. Yes, God made you, me and everyone on this earth. Just go and stand in front of a mirror and have a long look at that person in there. Do you recognise yourself? The beautiful divine child that God created is still within you, you are a young divine spirit, what you see reflected back at you is just a human shell. It's not the real you. You need the human shell to exist in this world and to experience it, but it is not you. Just think for one moment – one day in the land of spirit God decided to create YOU. He sat down made a list and thought of all the qualities you should have, how special you should be, how delightful and filled with light you should be. Don't confuse your human personality with the spirit you. Think about who you really are inside – those deep qualities that are not connected to DNA, personality or experience of life. Those are the qualities God created just for you. He fashioned you with a divine spark from himself, so you would be always and forever a part of him. He created you with immense love and compassion and then sent this beautiful baby spirit off to learn. And since that moment you have been learning all you can to evolve and become a great light for God and help him in the ways you are destined to help. Now how really special do you feel ? mirrored in the mists of time, all we need to do is sort the tumult from the rhyme. Softly onward we must tread along our path of light inclined, until we stumble to the end knarled and beaten fast and bled. Then looking on with eyes anew every stumble a lesson true, now wrapped in our soul divine added wisdom bliss sublime. We all crave the light, we spend our lives searching for the light in one way or another.
As a child we are born with Divine Light and as we grow and develop the darkness within us slowly overtakes and dims our light. Firstly we cannot have the light without having the dark - after all, a lit candle is of little use on the sunniest day, but in the dark of night it is most beneficial. Secondly the darkness is not a bad thing to have, we all have to find our own unique balance of darkness and light. Where does the darkness come from? The darkness is every little negative thing you have thought, felt, experienced and lived through, but instead of facing it and acknowledge it for its lessons and achievements, we bury it deep, we feel guilty of it, we feel repulsed by it because we are taught that it is not acceptable. This is done mostly in childhood so many of us are totally unaware of what our darkness holds. The darkness reappears as we grow older as we try to juggle all the balls of life, we for a time take our eye off what we are doing and then BANG! we bash ourselves and rehash the darkness until it eventually takes us over; telling us how unworthy we are, how insignificant we are, etc. Hans Christian King has a lovely phrase - we run our crazies he says, - we let our ego's dictate to us how we should be feeling and what we should be doing to fit in etc. The one thing you have forgotten and should remember is the light is in you. It's always been there, it never goes out. Even in the darkest mind or troubled moments, the darkness can never overwhelm the light because you have a Divine Spark - a God given Spark that he has given you and no on can extinguish that. Take time to reacquaint yourself with your darkness, don't fear it. Face it - give it a name, acknowledge it is part of you and look at what it has taught you. Even the most horrid of the darkness words holds a miracle - a freedom because when you know it you can forgive it, accept it and move on. God bless and keep you all Cora x |
