Your angel has always been with you. I find it comforting to know that I am never really alone. That there is someone with me whose sole purpose is to look out and watch over me. What's even more astonishing to me is that God decreed that this angel would accompany me through this life, on this journey and that I - as in my soul - is so important to him he did this for me. Have faith in your angels and communicate with them daily. Ask for their help and assistance at any time. Remember to always thank them for their help - after all it's only good manners and we like to be thanked when we have done something nice for another. Blessings Cora |

I'd gone to bed early to catch up on some well needed sleep. My adorable hubby had crept quietly into bed without waking me - bless him! I'm not sure how long I was asleep but at some point I woke up and heard the following words filling the bedroom...
To be honest, I couldn't tell you what the film is about. But the words resonated with me.
Just reading the words fill me with a gentle peace, a knowing of quiet contentment and a longing to finish my race and stand strong so I too can recite these words with true convection and love. Originally posted on 11/6/12 We hear a lot in spiritual circles / events about loving yourself and sending love to others especially those who are negative or offend/hurt us. Most people find this difficult to understand let alone to do.
So let's simplify it - whatever you wish to achieve be it spiritual or for yourself then the very first step you have to start with is yourself. It all stems from you, your belief, your confidence, your faith, your abilities, your loves, your opinions etc. If you can take yourself and apply the idea / principle of self respect, and put that into action - you will find it works and in working you can apply it further; to your life, your work / career, your friends etc. The only thing that stops you or causes concerns / difficulties is FEAR. Fear of the unknown, fear of failing, fear of what people will think or say and so on. So again you return to you and your ideas, opinions, feelings, etc. If you cannot love yourself 100%, be honest with yourself 100%, question yourself, trust yourself, be confident in yourself then you will have difficulties in moving these concepts to others. You must love yourself 100% not 90% not 99% if you don't then you have to ask yourself why can't you love yourself 100% - what's stopping you? I mostly love myself, but I don't deserve to be loved 100% do I? Why don't you deserve to be loved 100% ? There it is again FEAR. It's the biggest hurdle you have to overcome in most areas of your life. In beginning with yourself you can be honest, brave and unashamed of your emotions, feelings and loves. You can apply pure honesty to yourself and how you see and understand yourself. We are not taught real Self Respect in school or even at home, it's something we pick up along the way, although some are born with it - an inner knowing that something is wrong, someone is lying to them or deceiving them. We are taught to have manners, not answer back and the social graces although many of the youth today seem to be lacking these. Today the angels ask that you believe in yourself, have self respect for yourself. Start with You, ask the angels to help you recognise the signs / signals that will empower you to connect with yourself. In connecting with your inner self you will find connecting to you higher self easier. I'd love to hear about your progress - you can leave comments anonymously below. So you've done it, lived your life, been good and kind, a spiritual person, gave to charity and worked hard. So you arrive at Heaven's Gate - what next? Poor old Saint Peter shuffles forward with a clipboard in hand, "Just a few questions and then you can be on your way," he mumbles. Somethings obviously are the same as on earth, you think to yourself. So what are the questions? Well everyone is different and we all live very different lives, even within families. What questions do you think you'll be asked? Some of you will say, well i've never thought about that, mmmm let me see... Okay so its not something you expect to think about regularly, I agree. But honestly why not give it a few minutes now? Some of the things you won't be asked are : So how many bedrooms did your home have? How many houses did you own? How many acres of land? Really that many ! You drove a what? Nice !!! Bank balance please? That many zeros! Income before tax ? How many plasma TV's? How many people did you walk over to get to your current employment position? Where did you holiday? etc ... So to think about some you might be asked : Who did you help when they didn't ask for your help? How kind were you to people you didn't like? How many times did you do it because you knew it was the right thing to do? How many times did you forgive people who did and said hurtful thing to you? How many times did you turn the other cheek? How often did you just sit and listen? How many times did you wipe the slate clean and begin again? How often did you cry when you couldn't see a solution to a situation? Did you love with an open and just heart? What intention did you hold in your heart before you did something for someone else? If you're being really honest you might find that one or two from the top list creep into your questions, however, it's what you're asked when you get there that's important not what you answer today. Which list do you want to answer when you reach Heaven's Gate ? Originally posted on 7/4/12
Easter Springtime brings with it a beginning of all kinds and Easter is somewhat like that for me too. I see it as a rebirth of Faith. A time to refresh my faith and my religion and remember what its all about for me. Faith is very important to me, I know if I were asked did I have faith or was I religious, would first answer I have a strong faith, because I do. I always have, it's always been there, securely wrapped up inside me. A strong knowing of what is right and what is wrong and an intuition to follow my own path to discovery and enlightenment. Easter makes me feel new and fresh. My faith is renewed and I rejoice in my religion for bringing it to me in such a way. It's the path I chose for this life and I fully intend to live every moment of it to its fullest and most rewarding. Have a happy Easter and enjoy your Faith and your chocolate eggs too.
